Could you please describe the parameters of the ___SCMOBJ_to_XXX macros? Especially, what is the significance of the third (arg_num) parameter?

The arg_num parameter is the argument position of the C function for which the conversion is being done. This allows more precise error messages indicating the argument number where the conversion failed. The special value ___RETURN_POS (127) is used when the conversion is for a function return.
