There's probably a really obvious reason for this, except I'm not catching it.
By default, when I compile foo.scm numerous times, I get foo.o1 foo.o2 ... foo.o9
Instead of having foo.o overwritten.
It seems like there's some really useful way to use this for debugging -- but I' not catching it, how is it intended to be used?

Some operating systems do not allow the same object file to be loaded more than once.
