Note that the early registration deadline is approaching… Please register ASAP if you want to take advantage of the reduced rate.
I’m hoping to see many Gambit users at the conference!

I am proud to announce that registration for the International Lisp Conference is now open. The conference will be held at the University of Montreal on the 15-17 August 2014.
Of particular interest for Gambit users, there is a tutorial by Álvaro Castro-Castilla on “Multiplatform and Mobile App Development in Scheme with Gambit/SchemeSpheres” and a talk on the closed-loop anesthesia system built using Gambit and LambdaNative by the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team at UBC.
The early registration deadline is July 14, so it is to your advantage to register early if you want to save on the registration fee (the regular fee is $700, but you can save $300 by registering by the deadline). There are also special rates for students and members of ACM, ALU and MSLUG.
I hope to see many people from the Gambit community at ILC2014! If there is interest and sufficient numbers I can arrange to have a meeting room for those interested in Gambit to exchange ideas.

P.S. Here is the call for participation:
ILC 2014 - International Lisp Conference "Lisp on the Move"

Lisp is one of the greatest ideas from computer science and a major influence for almost all programming languages and for all sufficiently complex software applications.
The International Lisp Conference is a forum for the discussion of Lisp and, in particular, the design, implementation and application of any of the Lisp dialects. We encourage everyone interested in Lisp to participate.
This year's focus is directed towards integrated solutions, including mobile computing. The conference also provides slots for lightning talks, to be registered on-site every day.
