Thanks for trying out LambdaNative! You should be able to do something like this in a directory of your choice:
git clone https://github.com/part-cw/lambdanative.git cd lambdanative/ cp SETUP.template SETUP cp PROFILE.template PROFILE ./configure DemoConsole make make install
This will take a while to complete, as it builds the necessary libraries and tools for the first time. The build might stop along the way and complain about missing dependencies. Just install what’s missing and resume. Eventually you should end up with the DemoConsole REPL prompt.
If you have further questions specific to LambdaNative, please use the the LambdaNative issue tracker: https://github.com/part-cw/lambdanative/issues

Hello,
Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question.
I find the Getting Started page for LambdaNative to be just a bit too sparse in its directions.
Can some kind person offer a bit more guidance as to how one should go about setting up LambdaNative?
Do I download all of the files from GitHub? If so, where should they reside locally on a Mac OS X system? Where in Linux?
Are there any system wide configurations that need to be made?
Thanks in advance for any insight, clues, or helpful directions. _______________________________________________ Gambit-list mailing list Gambit-list@iro.umontreal.ca https://webmail.iro.umontreal.ca/mailman/listinfo/gambit-list
