Great!
For your information, the closest hotel to the Université de Montréal is the Hôtel Terrasse Royale (https://terrasse-royale.com) about a 10-15 minute walk from the CS department and surrounded with shops, restaurants, bakeries and cafés.
The lowest price per night on their web site seems to be $159CAD, but throught the university I can get a lower price for guests, around $120CAD or $90USD. I’ll make sure this is an option for attendees.

I would be interested in attending. I would fly into Montreal from NYC. I would be happy to present on R7RS or any other topic. I have no preferences for the date. Hotel prices might be a limiting factor: I attended one conference (in several different years) in Montreal but that was paid for by my employers.

To mark the occasion I am planning to organize a 1-2 day meeting this fall in Montreal if enough people can attend. The content remains to be determined but I can imagine some more-or-less formal presentations by me and attendants, brainstorming sessions and maybe some hacking on Gambit. To maximize attendance the meeting will be on a weekend, probably in September or October.
So please let the list know if you are interested in attending, and if you have preferences for the date. Also please indicate if you are interested in giving a presentation (15-30 minutes or more if you have lots of material) or organize some other activity.
