I was actually trying to build for the iOS; but this actually repeats on Ubuntu 64 as well, both fail in same spot before going to examples at all
On the mac OSX, GCC 4.2.1, On Ubuntu, GCC 4.4.3
On either:
% WGET/CURL "http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~gambit/download/gambit/v4.6/source/gambc-v4_6_0..." % tar ... % cd gambc-v4_6_0-devel % ./configure --enable-single-host % make -j 2 % make update
Is there something I'm doing wrong? They both fail on _io.o with the following type error
gcc -Wno-unused -O1 -fno-math-errno -fschedule-insns2 -fno-trapping-math -fno-strict-aliasing -fwrapv -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -fno-common -mieee-fp -I"../include" -c -o "_io.o" -I. -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -D___GAMBCDIR=""/usr/local/Gambit-C"" -D___SYS_TYPE_CPU=""x86_64"" -D___SYS_TYPE_VENDOR=""unknown"" -D___SYS_TYPE_OS=""linux-gnu"" -D___CONFIGURE_COMMAND=""./configure --enable-single-host --no-create --no-recursion"" -D___OBJ_EXTENSION="".o"" -D___EXE_EXTENSION="""" -D___BAT_EXTENSION="""" -D___PRIMAL _io.c -D___LIBRARY In file included from ../include/gambit.h:12, from _io.c:1343: ../include/gambit-not406001.h:1:2: error: #error "The version indicated in ___VERSION is not supported by gambit.h" ../include/gambit-not406001.h:2:2: error: #error "You are probably compiling C code generated by a Gambit compiler earlier or later than v4.6.1" ../include/gambit-not406001.h:3:2: error: #error "___VERSION will be set to 406001 to reduce other errors" make[2]: *** [_io.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/blahblahblah/t/gambc-v4_6_0-devel/lib' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/blahblahblah/t/gambc-v4_6_0-devel' make: *** [update] Error 2
