Hi,
How, or indeed can I, build and run TCL on Mac OS X Leopard using v4_2_2. A simple make does nothing while the best I have so far is
$ make run rm -f tcltk.o* ../../gsc/gsc -:=./../.. -cc-options " -I/usr/X11/include" -ld-options " -lSM -lICE -L/usr/X11/lib -R/usr/X11/lib -ltcl -ltk -lX11" ./ tcltk.scm ../../gsi/gsi tcltk -e '(load "test") (main)' ((##tcltk-exit) ##tcltk-exit-should-terminate?: #f)
With no TCL window appearing on the screen and the script hanging oblivious to Ctl-C. I have run with both X Windows running and without.
I also run Mac OS X and when I do "make run" the TCL window appears *behind* other windows, so it is hard to see. I don't know why this is. Also I'm not sure if I installed a newer version of TCL/TK (wish) than the one that comes with Leopard.
Also can I run Gambit with TCL on Windows?
Never tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as the TCL/TK shell starts when you execute "wish".
