Hi everybody,
To start off the new year I suggest we have an meeting of the MSLUG next Wednesday in a pub somewhere. We could discuss lispy stuff and have a beer. People can bring their laptops and exchange about their current projects. Everybody is welcome. If you are new to Scheme and Lisp, this is a great occasion to meet people and ask questions.
I'd say we could go to Pub Sainte-Elisabeth, upstairs (same spot as the meeting during OOPSLA), unless somebody has a better idea (maybe somewhere with free WiFi?).
I'm waiting for suggestions and will officially announce the location of the meeting by the end of the week.
Happy new year!
Guillaume

Does anybody else have preferences on time/position? Since bars and pubs are generally more busy on thursday nights, we might want to find a place which is a bit more quiet than Ste-Elisabeth. I was there earlier tonight and I don't think it's the right place to meet to discuss on a thursday night.

Might I suggest L'amere a boire ( http://www.amereaboire.com/ ), which is also new Berri Uquam metro. They accept reservations for large groups ( http://www.amereaboire.com/Hospoda/reservation.htm ). Unlike St. Elizabeth they also have a food menu, and they have particularly good house beers.
