Y'a t'il des intéressés à rencontrer le CEO de codeplay?

P.S. c'est une coincidence que ces gens nous contactent alors que nous développons l'environnement codePlay!

Hi Marc,
I run a company called Codeplay, who are a specialist developer of compilers for GPUs. I am going to be in Montreal next week for a games conference (MIGS) and am very interested in meeting academics and students in compilers during that week. It would be great if my colleague (Daan, CC'd) and I could meet with you and some suitable compilers students who might be looking for jobs in industry, or academic collaborations.
We do a lot of academic collaborations and research in Europe (http://www.lpgpu.org/ and http://www.peppher.eu/) which we would be very interested in extending to Montreal. Codeplay has been investigating the possibility of setting up in Montreal for some time, partly to be nearer our US customers, partly because we hope there might be some R&D funding available to us, but mostly because we think it will be a good place to recruit the kind of people that we like to hire. We tend to hire smart graduates and teach them about GPU compilers, as there are very few experienced GPU compiler developers around to hire.
It doesn't look like we'll get R&D funding in Montreal as that only seems to apply to large game developers, unless you know of other possibilities. But the recruitment opportunities look promising. And if we could set up suitable academic research collaborations, that would be great as well.
Would a meeting and a talk to your students be possible?

Moi ça m'intéresse. Je ne cherche pas de job mais j'aimerais savoir le genre de défis auxquels ils font face.
