Chris is my ex-officemate.
Don’t worry Stefan, you taught me well in static typing. I already did a “google background type check” I figured out you most likely did your PhD together. I wouldn’t have pushed commits without such “type inference” :-). Just kidding nice to know you Christopher.
A few points to explain my commits :
- I merged with Stefan comments / modification - I did not add in the related work a subsection about Operator Precedence Grammar (Floyd) because it is well explained in the body of the article. - I tried in the related work section for every language to talk about : Macro + Syntax (infix or not) and highlight strong similarities or differences with Typer. - I did not find any academic reference for Alain Frisch extension points in OCAML. This technology is the successor of CamlP4. - Maybe because of my lower English writing skills, I feel when I read the article from start to finish that the related work section clearly has been written by someone else. Feel free to rephrase to make it more uniform. - @Stefan : answers about Nemerle in comment in the .tex file.
- I will be available again tomorrow after 8PM or 9PM and Monday before 1PM. After that I have a doctor's appointment.

Le niveau d’anglais dans ma partie du texte doit être relevé et les fautes (nombreuses) corrigés. I’ll do my best. Chris, if you’re reading this and get bored, don’t hesitate to jump in ;-)
Sure… in our group in grad school I was the token native English speaker too, so I’m fine with that role.
I did pipe Vincent’s part of this message through Google Translate, and had a giggle when he mentioned writing about “Haskell, Agda, ‘Rooster’, and Racket”… haha.
