I don't know about any good examples but personally I have been using the
Black Hole module system (
http://dynamo.iro.umontreal.ca/~gambit/wiki/index.php/Black_Hole ) to take
care of all the compilation, encapsulation and dependency issues in my code.
It's quite easy to use and seems like a nice way to distribute Gambit
libraries.
