[gambit-list] Installing Gambit on Win32

Hi:

Yes, I know about the vctoolkit but it has a lot of baggage
which prevents install on win98.  

I am thinking that Scheme distributions should not depend
upon some proprietary, free-for-download compiler which
is not maintained and may disappear tomorrow.  Instead,
a "reference implementation" compiler should be bundled.
Makefiles for other compilers would only be provided as
incidentals.

Bundling MSYS with Scheme would make installation simpler
and more reliable for both Linux and Win32.
