My apologies if you receive this message more.
The mailing list for the RPPW community is outdated and in need of rebuilding from scratch. To this end, I have set up a new website at http://rppw.org, from which you can sign up to the new mailing list. My hope is that through this channel I can contact everyone who has previously been part of the community. Feel free to pass this pointer along to colleagues whose research interests are consonant with the RPPW group. This mailing list will supersede the previous one, so please ensure that you are on it!
If you choose to mail to the RPPW community, you will do so through the web-based mail interface of the site. The username for this is rppwowner. The password is rhythm. Please do so sparingly. This is a very low-volume list, primarily for the organization of the bi- annual workshop.
The website is intended to act as a resource for the community between workshops as well. I have put up a simple wiki, which you are invited to contribute to (requires a separate sign up to edit). There we can collect notes from past meetings, initiate discussion on rhythm topics, etc. I have tentatively put pointers to some topics that might be of interest, but feel free to make any changes you like. Please also take the time to enter your personal contacts and research interests in the Community page of the wiki. Abstracts of the last meeting in Dublin are already posted. Pass on any photos or texts you may have, or post them yourself!
Feedback on this is very welcome, and I expect the site to evolve, depending on perceived utility and frustration.
With best regards
Fred Cummins
