Hi folks,

I noticed that the meetup group for MSLUG seems to be winding down,
and we haven't had a meeting in a long time.

Last year, the Montreal Erlang Users Group merged with the Haskell
group to form Functional Programming Montreal:
  https://www.meetup.com/Functional-Programming-Montreal/

Although I come from a Common Lisp background and don't consider CL to
be a functional programming language, this group is open-minded about
programming languages in general and would welcome Scheme and Lisp
talks.

So, I wanted to encourage all of you to consider participating in this
group. Particularly, this can be an opportunity to reach a new
generation of programmers who have embraced many ideas that came out
of Lisp without knowing their origins. There are also many people
with Lisp backgrounds who regularly attend.

Cheers,
