[gambit-list] Problem Compiling Gambit on Windows 7 with mingw

I agree it's a C problem.  There's seems to be a complication with the winsock and ws2tcpip libraries in Windows 7 and beyond.  Unfortunately, I don't have access to a vista machine or MSVC.

Are the pre-built windows binaries for Gambit built on Vista?

I was hoping someone else had ran into this problem before.  I'll continue to play around with it and report back if I can pin it down.

Thanks!

Weird.

Technically this is a C problem.

For doublechecking, you could try your same compilation procedure with MingW on a Windows Vista machine and see if the result is the same.

Would using MSVC be an option to you?
