Greetings,

I am a member of Bonjure, the Montreal Clojure user group. http://www.bonjure.org/

Clojure is a dialect of Lisp gaining traction in the industry. http://clojure.org/

We formed the Bonjure group around March and had a few informal meetings.

We'll be having a first formal meeting at the CRIM's new location on Tuesday October 26th at 18h30.

The first presentation is yet to be determined.
You can see this thread for details: http://groups.google.com/group/montreal-clojure-user-group/browse_thread/thread/2b8195a06c9216e5

We would be thrilled to have fellow Lispers present and would be glad to talk about how we're using Clojure!

Meanwhile, you might enjoy listening to the first presentation of Clojure by its author. It's a bit dated but it gives the rationale behind Clojure and a good overview of its main features.
