which version did you get?  I remember there are a few hanging around, but Kirill Lisovsky has one that works well with Gambit out of the box.

In fact, after looking up "ssax Gambit" on Google, I found the following link ;)

Did you have to fix the current sourceforge version (which worked fine for me, at least at that point in time), or did you fix the ssax-gambit-49.tar.gz version?
