The Turing Test for Commerce: Introducing msg.ai Montreal Research Lab
Messaging is the top habit on the smartphone with the top 4 messaging apps
having over 3 billion users. With brands becoming a part of interactive
part of this experience, messaging apps are becoming the new browser with
AI becoming the new user interface. This is the biggest shift in digital
commerce since the smartphone.

About the speaker
Puneet is the Founder and CEO of msg.ai. He spent much of his career as a
tech executive on Wall Street, building predictive engines to power
large-scale trading bots. Puneet has been named to Advertising Age’s
Creativity 50 list, Business Insider’s “The Silicon Alley 100” and “35
Up-And-Coming Entrepreneurs You Need To Meet.” Puneet started his career at
IBM TJ Watson Research Center and actively comments on the topics of
bots, personalization and conversational ux. In his spare time, he rides
and works on his vintage motorcycle, mixes music, studies minimalist
industrial design, and volunteers for a non-profit.

msg.ai is a Y-Combinator and VC-backed AI platform for conversational
commerce. With $7.7mm in seed financing (not fully announced yet) from tier
one VCs and some of the top AI entrepreneurs (e.g. founders of Google
